Hi everyone, I'm Tiara from Indonesia and I'm planning to get aesthetic treatments in Korea next year. But I'm a bit worried because I don't speak Korean and I'm afraid of miscommunication with the doctor. Has anyone here had experience finding a clinic there? How do you know if a clinic is legitimate and good?
What I'd like to know is, how important is it to have an interpreter who speaks Indonesian, or is English enough? Also, how do you guys do your research before going? Is just reading online reviews enough, or are there other more reliable ways? I'm a little concerned about the communication barrier during the consultation.
Also, for an initial consultation, has anyone ever video called with the clinic from here? Or do you have to go in person for the first consultation? I'd appreciate any tips or experiences you have! 🙏

Hi Tiara! I'm also planning the same thing and totally understand your concerns about the language, hehe. From what I've heard, many places have English-speaking staff or even translators, so don't worry too much! Hope we can share our experiences later when we go there 🙏
