Hi, this is Yumi. I've been hesitating for a while, but I'm thinking of taking the plunge and getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul. I know there are good hospitals in Japan, but Korea seems to have more options and somehow feels more experienced...
However, since I'll be traveling from overseas, I'm worried about the total cost, including airfare and accommodation, and whether it's even realistic. I'm also honestly not sure how much the surgery itself costs compared to Japan. I'd love to hear from someone who's actually gone through with it.
Also, how is the consultation handled? Is it done online, or do I have to go in person after arriving? I'm also worried about things like whether I'll have to go back to Korea for follow-up appointments after the surgery. Has anyone else been in a similar situation and tried this?

I'm also thinking about this! I was wondering if you've looked into post-operative checkups? My biggest worry is that if any problems arise after I return to China, I'll have to fly back to see a doctor, which would be too costly.
Yumi, have you looked into the post-operative follow-up costs? I'm worried about that too, because I wonder if it's reasonable if I need to go back multiple times 🤔
