Hi, it's Kaede. I'm thinking about getting cosmetic procedures in Korea and have a question about nose fillers.
I'm planning to stay in Korea next month and would like to try getting a nose filler during my stay. However, I have limited time before my flight back home... Realistically, how long after the procedure is it safe to fly? How long do swelling and pain typically last?
Has anyone here had this experience? I'd love to hear your actual stories, whether you flew right after the procedure or waited a few days. Also, please share any tips on how to take care of yourself post-procedure... I couldn't find much clear information online (lol).
Thanks in advance!

I'm also planning to do this on my next trip to Korea, so I'm following your question! 🙌 I heard it's swollen and sensitive for the first few days, hoping someone can share their real-life experience with you.
I'm thinking the same thing! I totally get your concern because the flight back is really tight 😅 I hope those who have already gone through it can share their experiences, as I'm curious about how many days is actually appropriate to wait before flying.
Hi Kaede, did you ask anyone who's already had this done here? I'm also planning to get it done before flying back but I'm worried about swelling 😅 Do you have a specific timeline for the days after the procedure? That way, I can figure out if I'll have enough recovery time.
To Kaede, great work! I've had a similar procedure done, and honestly, it seems like there's quite a bit of individual variation. In my case, I flew on a plane the day after my procedure, and I regretted it a bit because the swelling lasted longer than I expected 😅 I feel like having 3-4 days between the procedure and flying would give you more peace of mind. Also, I think basic care like avoiding pressure after the procedure and staying well-hydrated is important. However, I'm not knowledgeable about medical matters, so I think it's best to consult directly during your counseling session for peace of mind!
Kaede-san, great work today! I've been in a similar situation after receiving a treatment, and honestly, I was a bit worried about flying immediately after. So, I'd recommend giving yourself at least 3 to 4 days if possible. Swelling and discomfort can be quite noticeable for the first few days, and considering the pressure changes on a plane and sitting for a long time, I felt it could be stressful 😅
