Hi everyone, I'm Shihhan. I've been thinking lately about whether I should fly to Korea specifically for double eyelid surgery. I've seen doctors in Taiwan too, but my friends keep saying that Korean aesthetics and techniques are different, and it seems like many people fly over there for it. However, I'm a bit hesitant because I'd need to take time off work, book flights and accommodation, and then return for follow-up appointments after the surgery... Just thinking about it feels quite complicated.
I'd like to ask about everyone's experiences – if you decide to get it done in Korea, what else do you need to consider besides the surgery itself? Things like post-operative care, follow-up appointments, or potential language barriers? Also, how do you assess if a clinic is suitable for you? I know everyone's needs are different, but I'm still a bit unsure if this kind of investment is worth it.
Has anyone flown from abroad to get it done? Could you share your overall experience? Or does anyone feel that getting it done in Taiwan is good enough? I'd love to hear different perspectives to help me make a decision. Thanks!
