Hi everyone, my name is Ayu from Indonesia. I'm seriously considering getting some aesthetic treatments in Seoul next year, but something's been bothering me—language. I speak basic English, but not fluently, and my market research shows that many consultations are in Korean. Are most clinics there able to handle consultations in English, or should I prepare a translator first?
Has anyone had this experience? What usually happens during the first consultation—are they visual-heavy, so language isn't crucial, or do I really need to understand every detail they explain? I'm worried there's been a miscommunication between my expectations and what they can deliver.
Molly, thanks for the insights! Maybe someone from Indonesia can share their experience too 🙏
