Hi everyone! I'm planning a vacation to Korea and want to try nose fillers while I'm there. But I'm a bit worried about the downtime since I can only stay for about 10 days. Has anyone had this before? How long does it usually take for the swelling and redness to subside? Is it safe to fly a week or two after treatment?
I'm really worried about coming home still looking swollen or bruised, because I don't want to look weird at the office, hehe. So, I'd like to know from your experiences: what's a realistic timeline for getting back to normal? And is there anything special I need to pay attention to before flying after fillers?

I was worried about this the last time I went! I heard from friends that most swelling/redness usually subsides within the first 5-7 days, but everyone's body is different so it's not guaranteed. You can ask the clinic you plan to go to for specific advice based on your timeline!
I'm actually thinking about doing something similar when I visit next month, so I'm curious about the timeline too! From what I've read in forums, most people say the initial puffiness goes down pretty quickly, but I'd definitely ask whoever you see about flying after—I've heard some practitioners recommend waiting a bit just to be safe, but everyone's different. Hopefully someone here has a recent experience to share!
I'm also considering the same thing, so reading your post made me a little worried! 😅 Hopefully, the experienced ladies in the group will share their advice so you can feel more at ease before your flight home.
I had the same concerns when I went to Seoul last time! In my experience, the swelling is most noticeable in the first three days, then gradually subsides, and it's usually mostly concealed after about a week. However, everyone's situation is different, so you might need to ask your doctor about your specific recovery time. My advice is that staying a few more days would give you peace of mind.
Oh, I understand your concern! Just a simple question — have you considered going to the clinic a few extra days before traveling to make sure you're completely healthy? Or do you want to take the trip quickly?
A 10-day stay is a bit short, isn't it? 😅 I have the same concerns, but it seems that the time it takes for the swelling to subside varies greatly from person to person. If you had the procedure, did you consult with your doctor about flying before returning home?
