I am considering installing a Winix window air conditioner myself on the window of my child's room at the end of the house. I am curious about the difficulty of self-installing the frame, and more importantly, with the rainy season coming up soon, I am worried about rainwater seeping through the gaps or insects swarming in the cracks when it pours. Is the sealing design tight and effective?

Aren't they coming out well these days?
The packing seals on both sides of the basic frame tightened the window frame elastically like rubber molding, so my worries about water leakage even during a typhoon were unfounded.
