My worries have dragged on for so long,
so I'm just pouring them out here.
I'm 34, and lately I've been feeling like essences and creams are reaching their limits.
I guess you could say I don't feel any change coming from within.
So I started looking into devices, and the radio frequency device and Tom the Glow Signature keep catching my eye.
Please let me know if you've used the radio frequency device or Tom the Glow Signature.
First off, I realized that the two have fundamentally different operating principles.
The radio frequency device works by delivering thermal energy to the skin to stimulate collagen production, whereas the Tom the Glow Signature uses the LDM Waterdrop Ultrasound method, which is structured to directly activate cells with ultrasound without thermal stimulation. However, since high-frequency devices use thermal energy, I've seen reviews saying they are burdensome to use on days when the skin is sensitive or easily irritated.
Also, there are reports that the effects of high-frequency devices become dulled after repeated use, perhaps because the skin adapts to them.
On the other hand, LDM replicates the treatment method used at dermatology clinics right at home, doesn't it?
A single session of LDM at a dermatology clinic costs 200,000 won, but I heard that you can use the Tom the Glow Signature for around 500 won per session. I saw that it ranked #1 at Olive Young in the US and caused a sell-out frenzy. Since it's a product that took off overseas first, I can't help but be drawn to it.
However, the part that confuses me the most is this: since the treatment principle of the radiofrequency device is heat-based, it is a method whose effectiveness has been verified to some extent. But, it received the world's first patent for 3/10MHz cross-TLDM, so it seems to have the same effects, frequency, and output as the 200,000 won LDM treatment at a dermatology clinic.
I also heard that it was co-developed with a director of a dermatology clinic in Gangnam. I heard that Yoo In-na is actually a Tom The Glow enthusiast as well.
If it were you guys, Tom The Glow Signature VS the radiofrequency device... which would you choose...?
I'm having trouble deciding, so I'm leaving this post to share my dilemma... Please help me ㅠㅠ
