Hi everyone! I'm Chialing, and I'm planning to get hyaluronic acid injections in my nose in Seoul next week, but I only have about 10 days there before flying back to Taiwan. I'd like to ask if anyone has experience with this: how long after getting nasal fillers can you usually wait before flying? Will air pressure affect it?
I'm a little worried that if the recovery period is too long, I might still have noticeable swelling or bruising when I return to Taiwan. Has anyone had similar experience and can share how long it usually takes before I feel presentable? I know everyone's situation is different, but I want to be mentally prepared.
Also, if I decide to get the injections, is there anything I should avoid doing a few days before my flight? Has anyone flown shortly after the procedure? I'd love to hear everyone's stories! Thanks!

I also flew back home after a facial, and I found 10 days a bit tight, but you need to be well-prepared. The main thing is that it swells quite a bit in the first few days, then it gradually goes away. However, everyone is different, so you should ask the person who did your procedure about the specific timeline! 😊
I experienced almost the same thing! Actually, I waited about a week before the trip and everything was fine, but of course, everyone is different. I suggest you avoid heavy objects and bending over at least a day or two before your flight, and make sure you drink plenty of water on the plane because the cabin pressure can increase bloating a little.
Hi Cheering, I hope this helps! I've been in a similar situation, so I wanted to share my experience in case it's helpful. After nasal fillers, swelling is common for the first few days, so if you have 10 days, you probably don't need to worry too much. However, there's a lot of individual variation, so it's best to consult your doctor directly about things like air pressure on the plane to be on the safe side. In my case, I think I recovered faster by not overexerting myself with city tours and just resting at the hotel. Good luck!
