Hi everyone, I'm Rong. I'm looking to get a small cosmetic procedure done in Seoul recently, but I've run into a problem. My Korean isn't great, and when I look at clinic reviews, I can't understand them at all. Even when I use translation software, it always feels a bit off. Has anyone else encountered this? How do you tell which reviews are genuine and which might be fake or exaggerated?
I'm especially interested in knowing what red flags I should watch out for. For example, is it a problem if all the reviews say the results are absolutely perfect? Or what details should I look for on a clinic's website? I want to find a reliable place, but I'm afraid of getting ripped off, especially since it's so easy to be misled when there's a language barrier.
I would be so grateful if anyone has experience with this! Or how does everyone else choose clinics? Do you have any recommendations?

Also, check if anyone mentions the communication style during consultations in the reviews – good places will usually proactively ask about your language needs. Additionally, I suggest looking at reviews from several different platforms rather than trusting just one source, as this will give you a more realistic picture.
