I'm considering LASIK, but looking at the downsides, I can't easily make a decision.

First off, a long recovery period and pain are a given.

There's also a lot of talk about glare and dry eyes among the downsides, which is a bit concerning since I drive at night frequently.

I know people say the experience of the downsides varies from person to person, but I'm curious if there are any who have managed to get by without any major discomfort.
