Hi, this is Yuka. I'm going to Korea next week for a minor procedure before returning home, and I have quite a bit of time before my flight, so I have a question about swelling care during that time.
The flight home is long, and I want to take care of the swelling during the flight and after I get home, but what specifically should I bring? Cooling sheets, moisturizing masks, etc... and maybe a cushion or pillow? To be honest, I don't really know what would be useful.
Also, I'd like to know if you have any recommendations for soothing cosmetics or items that I can use after returning home. Of course, it depends on the procedure, but I'm curious about what most people prepare. I'd appreciate it if you could share any tips or tricks you use. Thank you!

I'm also considering doing something similar, so reading your post was very helpful! I think bringing a face mask to reduce swelling and a cooling gel is a common tip, and a neck pillow might help on the plane. Wishing you a smooth recovery afterwards! 😊
Yuka, I understand! I'm thinking about a similar situation, so this post is very helpful. Swelling is a real concern on long flights, isn't it? Cooling sheets and moisturizing masks certainly seem like good ideas, but I'd also like to know what actually works best. It would be great if someone with experience could give some advice.
I sympathize with you so much after reading this! I've also had a petite procedure and had to take a long flight back, and it was really uncomfortable 😅 Personally, I try to bring cooling gel sheets and tissues with me, and try to sit with my head elevated during the flight, but it's still difficult. I hope you get some good advice from someone with more experience!
