Hi, this is Aya. I'm thinking about getting nose fillers in Korea, and I'm wondering how long the recovery period will be before returning home.
I'm not sure if it's okay to fly immediately after the procedure, or if I should wait a few days... I honestly don't know. I think swelling and downtime vary from person to person, so I'd appreciate it if anyone who has actually experienced it could tell me.
How long is a realistic waiting period before returning home? Does the change in air pressure matter? I'm sorry for all the worries since this is my first time, but please let me know if you have any information!

Aya, I understand your anxiety. I've thought the same thing. But I've heard that most people say it's best to wait 3-5 days for the swelling to subside before flying. And yes, cabin pressure might play a role, but many people still fly. Personally, it depends on how much rest time you have and how long the flight is. Good luck!
I recently went through a similar situation, and I heard from others that it's best to wait at least 3-5 days before flying to allow the swelling time to subside, as changes in air pressure can affect the treated area. You should ask your doctor directly during the initial consultation because everyone is different, but preparing a few extra days if possible will give you more peace of mind 😊
