I experienced pain after a hair transplant.
On the third day after the transplant, I experienced severe pain and scalp tightness that disrupted my sleep. Although it was alleviated with medication and cooling, partial numbness remained for two weeks as it healed.

Thank you for your hard work. Did the pain subside within two weeks? I'm curious if the numbness still remains, or if it has returned over time.
Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. I'm also considering the same procedure, and it sounds like the third day is indeed the toughest. If it settles down within two weeks, I can prepare myself for it.
Did your sensation return within two weeks, or is it still a little numb? I'm also considering a transplant, so I'm curious about your recovery process.
Wow, two weeks is indeed a long time. I also stayed in Korea for skin treatments before, and my situation was different, but what I learned is that sleeping position is really, really important—maybe you could try sleeping with an extra pillow or in a position that doesn't put direct pressure on the sore area? Hope the sensation returns to normal quickly!
Thanks for sharing, I also had a similar experience. The pain and tightness in my scalp were the hardest parts in the first few weeks, but it got much better over time. Did the lack of sensation improve for you later on, or did it stay the same?
That must have been tough... but thank you for sharing your experience. I'm also considering the same procedure, so your realistic account of the third day being the hardest and things settling down in two weeks is incredibly helpful. How is your sensation returning?
I really sympathize with you, I went through that phase too and it was truly uncomfortable. I found that keeping my head elevated while sleeping and using gentle cold compresses helped a little with the tightness, you should give it a try!
