Hello everyone! I'm Huda from the UAE and I've decided to go to Korea next month for some cosmetic treatments. But I'm a little worried about aftercare, especially when I get home. I thought about bringing some care products with me, but I'm not sure exactly what I'll need.
I've heard that cold compresses, soothing gels, and silicone scar treatments are great for the initial period after treatment. But honestly, I'm confused about which brands and products to buy. Should I buy everything before I go or wait until I get there? Hopefully, there are good pharmacies that sell reliable post-operative care products.
If anyone has experience with this, could you tell me what you brought with you and what you bought there? Do I really have to stick to specific products, or are there simpler and more effective options? I'm afraid I'll buy things that won't be helpful! 😅

I'm also considering going to Korea for treatments, and hearing you mention it makes me a little nervous 😅 I feel like it's best to ask a doctor at a local pharmacy for recommendations. There's no need to buy too much in advance, as that's more likely to be wasteful. Consulting on-site should be more reliable!
I had the same worries when I went to Korea! Actually, local pharmacies and convenience stores have a lot of basic soothing and moisturizing products, so you don't need to buy too much in advance, otherwise your luggage will be overweight 😅 My suggestion is to only bring the most basic cooling patches before you leave, and ask the clinic staff for recommendations when you get to Korea. They know best what you need after the procedure, and there are also many drugstores in Korea with a wide selection, and the prices are not particularly expensive.
I just returned from Korea, and it was my first time worrying about skincare products, but you can actually buy them there. The pharmacies all sell affordable and safe cooling solutions and soothing gels. You should ask your post-procedure care instructor for exact information instead of buying everything beforehand, because everyone's experience is different! 😊
