Hey everyone! I'm Faith from the US and I'm thinking about getting some aesthetic work done while I'm in Korea, but honestly I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed about where to even start looking. I've seen so many clinics online and I have no idea how to tell which ones are actually reputable vs. just good at marketing.
I'm curious — for those of you who've done this before, how did you actually find your clinic? Did you go through recommendations from friends, or did you research online? And what were the red flags you looked out for? I'm especially wondering about language stuff — like, do most places have English-speaking staff or interpreters available? I speak some Korean but definitely not medical Korean, so I'm worried about misunderstandings during consultation.
Also, what kind of questions should I be asking during the consultation itself? I want to make sure I'm not just trusting someone because they seem nice, but actually getting a sense of whether they know what they're doing. Any tips on what to look for or ask about would be super helpful!
Thanks in advance!
