Hi everyone, I'm Xiangxiang from Taiwan. I've been considering flying to Seoul for double eyelid surgery lately. I've inquired at a few clinics in Taiwan, but for some reason, I really want to try Korean cosmetic surgery. Maybe it's because Korean girls always have such beautiful eyes, or maybe I'm just a bit superstitious about Korean techniques, haha.
But honestly, I'm really torn. Flying there requires taking time off work, booking flights and hotels, and possibly staying for a few extra days for post-operative observation—the costs add up to quite a bit. Has anyone tried flying to Korea from abroad for this kind of surgery? Did you find the process smooth? Will language be a problem? My English is okay, but I'm really unsure if I can communicate clearly about medical terminology.
Also, my biggest worry is post-operative follow-up. What if there are any problems after returning to Taiwan from Korea? This is making me quite hesitant. I'd love to hear everyone's experiences and advice, thank you!
