Hi everyone, I'm Zhen, and I'm considering getting a nose filler in Korea. My vacation time is limited, maybe a week at most, so I'm concerned about the recovery period.
I've heard that non-surgical nose fillers recover faster, but I'm not sure exactly how long it will take before I can fly back. Have any of you had this procedure done? Is your face very swollen after the injection? How many days does it take to look natural?
Also, if I'm flying, do I have to wait until the swelling completely subsides before boarding? Or is it okay if there's still a little swelling? I'm a bit nervous, worried it might affect my travel plans. I hope someone with experience can share their insights!

Hi Jen! I'm also thinking the same thing, so I totally understand your concern! From what I've read on the forums here, most people say the swelling subsides quite a bit in the first 2-3 days, but everyone's response is different. It might be worth consulting with a doctor here first, so they can give you a more accurate estimate based on your individual facial condition 😊
I completely understand your concerns! I also have limited vacation time and am especially worried about affecting my travel plans. I've heard many people say that non-surgical fillers do recover faster, but everyone's situation is different. Some people may experience more noticeable swelling, so it's best to allow a few extra days in advance for peace of mind.
Jen, how long after your vaccination are you planning to fly? I'm worried about that too because my company only allows a week off.
Jen, are you planning to find a friend or relative there to help take care of you for the first few days? I'm curious how you'll manage if you go alone?
Jen, I'm also planning to do this, but I'm just as worried as you are. Are you flying back in a week, or do you have a few extra days to rest? I'm wondering if it's a good idea to book extra buffer time to be on the safe side.
