What's it really like to have double eyelid surgery in Seoul, especially if you're traveling from overseas?

Hi, my name is Hana. I'm seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul, but I'm wondering if it's worth the trip from Japan.

I often hear that South Korea has excellent cosmetic surgery facilities, and a friend who's had the procedure there seems very satisfied. However, I'm worried about travel and accommodation costs, whether I'll be able to get immediate treatment if something goes wrong, and language barriers... I could get the surgery in Japan, and I'm wondering if that would be easier in case of any issues.

For those who have traveled from overseas for surgery, what was your experience like? What was the pre-operative consultation and aftercare like? Also, what was the most important factor for you when making your decision? Budget, compatibility with the medical staff, etc.? I'd love to hear from people with experience.
