Hi everyone! I'm Nadia from Indonesia. So I've been wanting to try aesthetic treatment in Korea for a while, but honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed with budget planning. It's not just the treatment that needs to be factored in, but also flights, hotel, transportation, and meals while there. I haven't finalized my procedure yet, but I'm planning to do so next month or so.
What I wanted to ask is, for those of you who have been to Korea for treatment, what's the recommended minimum stay? Would 5-6 days be enough, or is a week better? I'm also concerned about healing time, so returning straight away isn't ideal. Plus, from your experience, what's a realistic all-in budget (flights, accommodation, treatment, daily stuff)? I know prices vary greatly depending on the procedure and travel timing.
Also, can anyone share any tips on how to plan a good itinerary? Should I consult with the clinic first, or what's the process like? I'm a bit worried about booking carelessly or getting hit with surprise costs. I'd really appreciate it if anyone would be willing to share their experience! 🙏

I had the same dilemma when I went to Seoul last time, but I found that about a week was actually quite suitable. It allowed my body time to recover without being too rushed. My advice is to have a preliminary discussion with a medical institution about the procedures you're interested in. This will allow for a more accurate estimate of the time and budget, preventing unexpected issues later on.
Nadia, have you considered contacting the hospital beforehand to inquire about the recovery timeline? I'm also worried about these things, and I'm not sure how many days I should allocate for post-procedure care.
