Hey everyone! I'm Joy from the US and I'm planning a trip to Korea in a few months, and honestly I'm a bit nervous about finding a good clinic for a consultation. I've done some research online but there's so much info (and sometimes conflicting) that I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.
I guess my main questions are: how do you all actually vet clinics when you don't speak Korean fluently? Do you usually go through an interpreter, or do most places have English-speaking staff? And what are some red flags I should watch out for? I want to make sure I'm choosing somewhere that takes time to actually listen to what I want, not just pushing procedures.
Also, has anyone done a consultation before booking? I feel like that might help me get a better feel for the clinic and whether the doctor actually explains things clearly. Any tips on what to ask or what to look for during a consult would be super helpful!
Thanks in advance — I know this is such a common question but I'd really appreciate hearing from people who've been through it! 💕
