Is it worth a special trip to Seoul for double eyelid surgery?

Hello everyone, I'm Lu. I've been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently, but flying there alone from China makes me feel like I need to figure everything out thoroughly. I know many people say Korea has good technology and aesthetics that understand Asian eye characteristics, but I'm still a bit hesitant. Besides the surgery itself, I also need to consider travel time, costs, and the inconveniences of being in a foreign place during recovery...

I'd like to ask if any of you have traveled to Seoul specifically for eye surgery. Do you feel the whole process was worth it? Especially regarding post-operative care and follow-up appointments, is communication with local doctors complicated? My biggest dilemma right now is that there are quite a few medical aesthetic institutions in China. How should I weigh the options between getting it done here or making the trip to Seoul?

Also, if I decide to go, do I really need to book appointments far in advance for the initial preparation and consultation stages? Can anyone share a general timeline? I'm currently in the information-gathering phase and haven't made a firm decision yet. All suggestions and experiences are welcome!
