I never dreamed that I would ever hear my own mother talking about divorce. Watching her go through this as her child was driving me crazy, so I stepped up and offered to look for a law firm for her.
When I actually tried to look, I realized I didn't know anything and was just constantly searching the internet. I learned that if divorce involves issues like property division or alimony, it is better to go to a firm specializing in family law rather than a general law firm to avoid problems later.
After frantic searching, I found out there was a lawyer specializing in divorce right in front of Sinsa Station, so I took my mother there for an in-person consultation. Since I am completely clueless about the law, I was incredibly nervous right up until we went in.
My mother's hands were trembling the whole time, but once the consultation began, she explained the procedures and property division details—which had seemed so complicated—in a way that was easy for us to understand.
She clearly outlined a realistic course of action, and seeing how much my anxious mother felt at ease made me feel like I could finally breathe. Since the process is still ongoing, we have to wait and see the final results, but there is definitely a difference between before and after the counseling.
I feel much more reassured receiving expert guidance than suffering in silence. I am writing this post to encourage anyone who might be going through a difficult time like my mom's to stop suffering in silence and make sure to get counseling first. Please stay strong, everyone.

I'm also suddenly preparing for divorce proceedings and haven't been able to eat for days, just crying... If it's not too much trouble, could you share the contact information of the place where you received counseling? I'm a bit slow to check messages, so I would be truly grateful if you could leave it in the comments... ㅠㅠ
Oh no ㅠㅠ I really understand that feeling so well because I've seen it firsthand... You'll get sick if you keep suffering alone, really. Anyway, so many people have been asking me via DM that it's hard to reply to everyone individually, so I'm just leaving it here! It's right in front of Shinsa Station, and the number is 0262485015. They said if I share contact info at a cafe, I might be mistaken for a viral marketing account and my post could get taken down, so I'm leaving it here in a hurry. I'll delete it right away if there's any problem! Stay strong ㅠㅠ
I'm preparing for divorce proceedings, and reading your post really tugs at my heartstrings. Is that a massive, large-scale law firm? I'm looking into options too.
No, that's a boutique law firm with just four lawyers! Unlike huge, large-scale firms where they overwork everyone, their system ensures a dedicated family law attorney handles your case personally from start to finish, providing close support. From a child's perspective, that approach offers much more peace of mind and trust. They even provide meticulous mental care during document preparation, so don't rush and I hope you can wrap things up well ^^
