Hello, my name is Aom. 😊 I have a question. Next month, I'm planning to go to Korea for a petite procedure. The problem is, I'll be flying back to Thailand on the 5th day after the procedure. I'm worried about still having a lot of swelling. So, I'd like to know how those who have had it done managed their swelling. Would it be very helpful to bring an ice pack on the plane, or should I look for some products in Korea myself?
I'd love to hear about serums or gels for after petite procedures, but I'm not sure what kind to look for. Did anyone bring special skincare on their trip? And will the airplane air make the swelling worse? 🥺 I'm looking forward to hearing advice from experienced people. Thank you in advance!

Aom, take it easy! I was thinking of doing the same thing. Five days might be a bit rushed, but I've heard many people manage it well. I'll wait for comments from the moms who have already tried it. 😊
Hi Om, I've also had that kind of paranoia before flying 😅 From what I've seen in this community, most people say 5 days is actually enough for swelling to start subsiding with consistent care—but it really depends on the type of procedure. If possible, try asking the clinic there directly about their aftercare routine during the recovery period, as they can usually recommend lightweight local products suitable for flights.
I used to worry about this too! A small tip is to bring a multi-purpose cold compress because it helps reduce swelling and is convenient to carry on the plane. You can ask your clinic beforehand what products they recommend for post-treatment care; they'll likely suggest things that are perfect for your skin condition 😊
I'm also considering a similar treatment! Five days is indeed quite rushed. I think you could ask the clinic for their recommendations in advance, as swelling varies quite a bit depending on the treatment, and they'd know best about the recovery timeline. Flying might indeed worsen swelling, but proper icing and drinking plenty of water should help. Hope your treatment goes smoothly!
