Hey ladies, I'm planning to research cosmetic treatments in Korea, but I'm quite confused about reading reviews. Since I'm not fluent in Korean, I don't know how many reviews are real or fake, and which ones are trustworthy. I see many different opinions on English and Vietnamese websites, but I'm not sure if they're from people who have actually experienced the treatments.
Does anyone have any experience to help me? Where should I look for reviews, and what signs should I look for to be wary or skip a review? For example, are overly positive reviews (100%) a red flag? Or should I ask people who have actually been there directly?
I'd appreciate it if you could share how you found reliable information, as I want to be cautious before making a decision. Thank you so much! 💕

Ugh, I totally feel this! I've been there trying to figure out which reviews are real versus just promotional posts, and the language barrier makes it even harder. Honestly, I've found it really helpful to connect with people in expat groups or beauty communities online—like actually DMing someone who's done the procedure and asking them questions directly. They're usually way more honest than polished reviews, and you can ask about their actual experience without the marketing spin, you know?
I'm in the same situation as you; my Korean isn't very good, so it's hard to distinguish between real and fake reviews! 😅 I think the safest way is to ask Vietnamese people who have tried it directly, or look for review accounts with clear before/after photos instead of just rambling praise.
