Hi everyone! I'm Jing, and I'm planning to get some cosmetic procedures done in Seoul later this year, but I'm completely unfamiliar with the area. I've heard there are a lot of clinics in Gangnam and Apgujeong, and it seems like many people get their procedures done there, but I'm not sure where to stay. Have any of you ladies stayed in these two areas and could share your experiences?
I mainly want to consult on some basic procedures, which might require two or three visits. I'd like to ask you all: did you stay in Gangnam, or did you choose to stay in another area and take the subway? I've heard the Seoul subway is very convenient, but I'm still a little worried about finding clinics in an unfamiliar city.
Also, I'd like to know if anyone has visited both areas, and which area has a more comfortable surrounding environment? I'd like to have a relaxing place before and after my consultations; I don't want to spend the whole day shuttling between clinics and the subway. Any suggestions or location tips would be greatly appreciated!

Jing, have you made any plans for finding accommodation yet, or are you planning to ask directly when you arrive in Seoul? This is my first time going, so I'm a little worried, but I heard that staying near Gangnam would be more convenient because it saves on transportation.
I totally understand how you feel! At first, I was also overwhelmed by the numerous customer issues and the travel difficulties, but eventually I found that staying near a major train station and using the meters was quite convenient, even if it wasn't in the primary area. It significantly reduced my fatigue 😊

Hey Jing! I totally get the worry about navigating a new city — I felt the same way before my first trip! Honestly, staying near Gangnam made things so much easier for me since the subway is super convenient and there are cafes everywhere to chill between appointments. Plus, being close to where clinics are concentrated meant less stress about getting lost, which was a huge relief when I was already nervous about consultations.
Aw, I totally get the nervousness about navigating a new city! I stayed in Gangnam for my visits and honestly the subway is super easy once you figure out your line — just grab a transit app and you're golden. My tip would be to stay close-ish to where you're getting your consultations so you're not exhausted between appointments, since recovery vibes are real and you'll want downtime in between visits!
