Hi everyone, I'm Tao, and I'm planning a small cosmetic procedure in Seoul this fall. I'd love to take the opportunity to explore the city more. I've heard that the Gangnam and Apgujeong areas have many clinics and beauty shops, but I'm not very familiar with Seoul. I wanted to ask those of you with experience – where do you usually stay when you go for beauty treatments?
I'm mainly wondering if it's convenient to stay near Gangnam if I plan to see a dermatologist or undergo minor cosmetic procedures. Or are other areas also good options? I've heard some places have great subway access, while others might have many clinics but fewer accommodation choices. Do you have any recommendations?
Also, for a beauty trip, how long is a reasonable stay typically? I also want to visit other attractions and go shopping in Seoul. If anyone has recently visited relevant treatment centers, I'd love to hear about your experiences and advice! Thanks, everyone~

I'm also not from here and can totally relate to your concerns! The last time I went, I stayed somewhere with convenient subway access. It made getting to and from the clinic and attractions so much easier, without having to waste time figuring out transportation every time. Five to seven days feels just right – enough time to recover properly while still being able to explore other places.
