My current pads feel like they keep getting stiffer with every wash, so... I'm thinking of switching to something softer this time. I looked it up and saw that a lot of people recommend modal baby pads. Is there actually a big difference compared to pure cotton? My baby has sensitive skin, so I'd prefer to use one that feels nice against the skin.

Yes, absolutely. I use Pomonde Modal pads, and there was definitely a difference in texture. It’s great because it doesn't get rough even after frequent washing! But the modal content is important, so I did some research and bought the 100% ones.
