It has been quite a while since I gave birth, but the C-section scar is red, hard, and raised, and it shows no signs of disappearing. Every time I look in the mirror while showering, that scar is the only thing that stands out, making me feel self-conscious and depressed. I have already gone through several tubes of ointments and sheets, but they haven't worked, so I think I need to go to a hospital that specializes in C-section scar removal. I am worried that having surgery again might make the scar bigger, and are there any places that can fix it cleanly without any recurrence?
