Hey everyone! I'm Lan, and I'm going to Seoul next month. This is my first time going to Korea specifically for beauty and skincare, and I'm a little nervous but super excited! I've recently seen a lot of posts on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) about Korean skincare and cosmetic procedures, and Seoul's beauty culture seems really different.

I mainly want to experience their skincare philosophy and some basic skincare routines. For example, I've heard that Korean masks and serums are very particular about ingredients and layering, which might be different from the products I use in China. I'm also curious about how professional skin diagnoses are done there. Has anyone had a skin test or consultation?

I'm unsure about my budget and whether it's safe to go alone (even though I speak basic Korean 😄). Could anyone share their experiences with beauty treatments in Seoul? What was your favorite part? I'd really like to hear honest feedback, not just advertising hype. Thanks everyone!
