Hi everyone, I'm Fei, from a small town in China. I recently discovered this community and love the vibe here, so I wanted to introduce myself.
My interest in K-beauty actually started by observing a friend's skin condition. After a business trip to Korea, her skin improved significantly. I later learned she had tried some skincare and medical aesthetic treatments there. Initially, I was curious about the skincare products, and gradually, I wanted to learn more about Korean beauty philosophies. I searched online and found many people saying Korea truly has unique ideas in this area, which made me more and more interested.
Right now, I mainly want to learn more, and perhaps if there's an opportunity in the future, I'll try some treatments myself. But honestly, I'm still a bit lost when it comes to medical aesthetics – I'm not quite sure where to start or how to choose. After reading the posts in this community, I feel everyone is so enthusiastic. I hope to meet like-minded friends here to chat about K-beauty and related experiences together!

Hi Fei! I'm also an international student who's just getting into K-beauty like you, and I'm truly captivated by Korea's approach to skincare and aesthetics. I understand how you feel when you don't know where to start, but I find this community incredibly friendly and it will help you a lot! Let's learn together 🥰
Welcome! That's so cool that your friend's skin improved so much — honestly, that's the kind of real-life story that makes me curious too. When you do decide to try treatments here, are you thinking you'd want to do a bunch of research first, or would you prefer to just chat with people here about what they've tried?
Welcome, Fai! 😊 I also started my K-beauty journey through a friend, and thank God, now I'm addicted to everything Korean! My advice to you: start with simple, gentle skincare first before thinking about anything else, because a strong foundation changes everything. And talk to people here because they are very kind and openly share their experiences.
Hello! Welcome to the community! 😊 I totally get how you feel, as I also came from abroad and started getting into K-beauty for similar reasons. Your friend must have had some amazing skincare upbringing! I'm still learning about skincare and everything related myself, but the great thing is, there are many cool people here who can offer guidance. We can explore and learn together!
Welcome! That's so cool that your friend's skin improved after her trip — honestly that's what got me interested in Korean beauty too. When you do eventually visit, are you thinking you'd want to try treatments while you're there, or are you more focused on learning about products first?
