Hi everyone, it's Lei! I'm finally heading to Seoul next month, and I'm super excited. I've always loved Korean skincare products, but this will be my first time visiting in person, so I want to take this opportunity to fully immerse myself in the local beauty culture.
What I'm most looking forward to is trying out various skincare experiences. I've heard, for example, that Seoul has many places offering skin management treatments, and the results look impressive. However, I have no idea about the procedures or the atmosphere there. Have any of you ladies been? Can you share what it's like? My skin is on the drier side and prone to sensitivity. I'm wondering if I need to book appointments in advance or if I can just walk in.
I also want to explore areas like Itaewon or Myeongdong, as I've heard they have a huge number of beauty stores and skincare specialty shops. Are there any must-buy brands or ones that are particularly worth experiencing? I want to bring back a lot, but I also don't want to make any mistakes.
If you've been before, could you share some of your real experiences? For instance, which treatments are genuinely worth queuing or booking for, and which might just be marketing hype? I'd really appreciate any advice!
