Hi everyone! My name is Tam, and I'm going to Seoul in two weeks and I'm super excited! 😆 I've loved K-beauty for a long time but only bought online. This time, I have the chance to go in person and want to experience everything I can.
I'm wondering which skincare products would be most suitable. Currently, my skin is quite sensitive and prone to dryness and breakouts. Has anyone been to any beauty/spa areas in Seoul? What were your experiences? I want to try some treatments to help my skin recover but I don't know where to start.
Also, do you know any places that sell affordable local skincare? I'll do some research online myself, but I'd trust hearing directly from you all more! 🥰 Thank you so much!

Oh, I'm interested! I'm planning to go to Seoul soon too, and I'm thinking of trying some new things. 😊 My skin is sensitive and dry like yours, so I'd love to know what others would recommend.
Hello! I also have sensitive, dry skin when I went to Seoul before. I suggest you check out the beauty streets in Myeongdong and Gangnam. There are many small shops where you can try out products, and the staff are very friendly. Also, before you go, you can check reviews on Korean websites. Many bloggers recommend gentle products suitable for sensitive skin, so you'll know what to expect and won't be too impulsive when you go!
Hello! Your skin sounds quite similar to mine 😅 I was wondering what K beauty products you've bought online before? I'm also considering whether to try them out in-store when I'm in Seoul, and I'd like to know if you think there's a big difference between buying online and experiencing them in person?
I just got back from Seoul and I completely understand how you feel! 😊 I suggest you try visiting the old town shopping areas or Myeongdong to see and try the products in person, because with sensitive skin like yours, it's best to test them first. As for treatments, I've seen many spas and beauty centers there, but you should ask friends or do thorough research to choose a place that suits your skin!
Oh, I feel the same way! When I first went to the salon, I was just as excited 😄 For sensitive and dry skin like yours, try a natural skincare shop. The staff are very kind and helpful, and you can try different products before buying, which is great for sensitive skin like mine. As for skin treatments, I'm still finding what works for me, but I hear they offer a wide variety of services. Good luck! 💕
