Hey everyone! My name is Oanh, and I'm going to Seoul for the first time next month and I'm super hyped. I've followed a lot of K-beauty accounts online, but now that I'm actually going, I want to ask you guys for some advice.
I'm very interested in skincare. Has anyone tried any beauty/aesthetic treatments there? I want to know which areas have a lot of beauty salons, and what do you usually look for? I heard that Gangnam has many places, but I'm a little scared because I don't know how to choose the right one.
What I'm really concerned about is whether I should book in advance or if I can walk in? And does anyone know how to communicate? I've learned a little Korean, but I'm still a bit worried. I hope you can share your experiences with me, thank you so much! 💛

Hello! I'm also from the UAE and I just visited Seoul 😊 A simple question — have you tried any cosmetic treatments before in your country, or is this your first time? Because I'm wondering what the differences are between the services there and what we have here!
I just went to Seoul for the first time too and I felt the same way as you! 😄 I think speaking English or using Google Translate is fine; many places have staff who understand English or are willing to help. It's safer to try calling ahead to ask and make an appointment!
Hey, this is my first time in Seoul too, I totally understand your worries! I later discovered that many beauty salons have staff who speak English or Chinese, or you can use a translation app to communicate with them. They're actually quite used to serving foreign customers. I'd love to hear everyone's experiences sometime, let's all cheer each other on! 💛
