Hi! My name is Champ, and I'm planning my first trip to Seoul to try some aesthetic treatments. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong are hot spots for this, but I'm not sure where to go. If anyone has been there, could you tell me about the atmosphere and if there are many clinics?
Also, I'd like to know where would be a good place for a foreigner to stay close to beauty clinics? I'm looking for a comfortable hotel or guesthouse not too far from where I need to go. Since I'm the first in my group of friends to try this, I don't know much about it.
Has anyone been to both areas? Could you compare their opinions on things like comfort, atmosphere, and accommodation? Thanks in advance!

Hey! I totally get the overwhelm – I was in the exact same boat when I first came to Seoul and didn't know where to start either. Both areas have tons of options and good vibes, so honestly it might come down to where you find accommodation that feels comfortable, since you'll want to rest after treatments anyway. Have you checked out some travel forums or subreddits for Seoul? I found so many helpful firsthand experiences there that made me feel way less lost!
I've already been to Gangnam, and finding accommodation near that area is very convenient. I recommend looking for accommodation in that neighborhood so you don't have to travel far 😊
It was my first time there too, so I understand how you feel! I found both areas to have plenty of places, but Gangnam seemed a bit busier, while Apgujeong felt quieter and cleaner. Regarding accommodation, I suggest finding a guesthouse near those areas and checking reviews from foreigners to see if the environment and distance are suitable!
Hi Champ! This is my first time going to Seoul for a treatment, so I totally relate to your confusion! From what I've heard, both areas are bustling with options, but I'm still unsure where to start and how much to budget. Hopefully, someone can share their experience here! 😊
