Would it be better to go to a dermatologist to manage freckles and blemishes?

I thought I was taking care of my skin with cosmetics at home, but is it just my imagination that I feel like I have even more tiny freckles and blemishes? T_T

The laser treatment for freckles and blemishes should be effective, right?
