Hi friends! I'm Sarah, from the US (California specifically), and I just discovered this community and I'm already obsessed. I've been into skincare for a while now, but honestly, everything changed when my coworker came back from Seoul last year with this glowing skin and the most adorable sheet masks I'd ever seen. I started down the K-beauty rabbit hole and never looked back lol.
I'm really curious about exploring more than just products though — I've been reading about aesthetic treatments in Korea and how different they approach things compared to what we have back home. I'm not even sure what I'd actually be interested in trying, but I love how approachable and normalized it all seems there? Like people just casually talk about their skincare routines and treatments without it being weird.
I'm hoping to soak up knowledge from all of you and maybe plan a trip soon just to experience it all firsthand. Would love to hear your stories, tips, and honest thoughts about what actually works. Also totally open to skincare product recs because I'm always looking to upgrade my routine! Thanks for having me 💕

Hi Sarah, welcome! I totally get it—my friend also came from Seoul and was immediately obsessed with the K-beauty scene. One thing I noticed is that they really focus on a consistent skincare routine before trying any treatments, so it might be worth exploring the products first and seeing what suits your skin 😊
Welcome, Sarah! 😊 I understand you got interested in K-beauty after a colleague brought in a sheet mask! That's how I got hooked on K-beauty too. By the way, out of all the K-beauty products you've tried so far, which one have you found to be the most effective? I'd love to know, so I'd like to use it as a reference!
Welcome, welcome! I was also introduced to K-Beauty by a friend, haha. I think you're absolutely right, Koreans really do have a different attitude towards skincare and beauty. Everyone talks about these things very openly, without any awkwardness. When I went to Seoul last time, I found that the biggest takeaway wasn't any specific treatment, but rather discovering some ways to combine everyday skincare products. Using these combinations really made a noticeable improvement in my skin! I look forward to hearing your feedback after your trip!
Hey Sarah, welcome to the community! 😊 I totally understand how you feel seeing your friend come back from Seoul with such beautiful skin and wanting to try everything. I've been using K-beauty products for a while now, but haven't tried any treatments there yet. Hopefully, we can share our experiences soon! Have fun! ✨
