Hello everyone, my name is Akasaka. I'm in my 30s and live in the Kansai region. This is my first time joining this community, so I'd like to introduce myself first.
Actually, I got hooked on K-beauty last fall when I used a sheet mask my friend bought for me during a trip to Seoul. Honestly, at the time, I was like, "Korean cosmetics? Meh..." But after using it, I felt like my skin became softer. From then on, I started researching on YouTube, and now I try out various products every month like a total otaku (lol).
I haven't been to Korea yet, but I'd love to visit someday. I'm particularly interested in learning about the skincare culture and the approaches of dermatologists, and how they differ from Japan. I'd be happy to exchange information in this community. If you have any recommendations for beginners, I'd really appreciate it if you could share them!
