Hello~ My contract for the water purifier I've been using at home just recently ended, so it was the perfect time to switch to a new one. I used to use a standard water purifier, but this time I wanted to try an ice water purifier, so I asked around and searched through tons of reviews on online forums. However, once I actually decided to look into renting an ice water purifier, I ended up having decision paralysis because there were so many brands and types available. ㅠㅠ

At first, I went to the websites and compared various options on my own, but I couldn't really understand them and was confused, so I just started by getting consultations right away. After listening to the explanations, I realized that each company had different flagship models they were promoting, but two in particular caught my eye.

This one has a feature that dispenses ice and water at the same time. It looked convenient because you just have to place a cup on it and press a button. Also, I liked that I could choose between on-site maintenance or self-maintenance to suit my situation.

The other one was Chungho Nais THE M. It is a well-known brand in this field, and first of all, I liked the design. With a width of 19.5cm, it is incredibly slim, so I thought a major advantage was that it takes up less kitchen space. While consulting with several places, I realized something significant... the machine's performance itself and the basic rental fee are all the same since they are based on the headquarters' standards, right?

However, the 6-year contract terms, affiliate card discount conditions, and, crucially, additional benefits (subsidies) varied completely from company to company. People around me also told me that where you rent an ice water purifier is more important than the product itself, and advised me to compare places that offer the most benefits no matter what. So, I really made up my mind and went around consulting with about 10 places via text and phone. The way they guided me and the details they took care of were truly vastly different. In the end, after a lot of trouble (?), I found a place that matched my desired maximum benefits and communicated the best regarding installation, so I happily finalized the application. Haha, now that it's actually installed, I wish I had switched sooner. I'm sure many of you are getting a headache just like I did while looking into ice water purifier rentals, but I think thorough comparison is the answer. I'm leaving this here in case anyone is curious about the information of the company I finally went with after spending a few days visiting various places!
