Hey everyone! I'm flying to Seoul in like 4 weeks and I'm honestly SO excited. I've been obsessed with Korean skincare forever, and I really want to make the most of being there in person. Has anyone done the whole clinic consultation thing while visiting? I'm curious about getting a consultation just to learn more about different approaches — not committed to anything crazy, just want to see what's out there, you know?
Also, I'm definitely planning to hit up some of the beauty areas and try products I can't get at home. I know Myeongdong gets touristy but I'm cool with that. Are there any specific neighborhoods or streets you'd recommend just for browsing and trying stuff? I want to feel like a local but honestly I'll probably be that tourist taking notes 😅
I'm also wondering if anyone's been to a dermatology consultation at a clinic while traveling? Like, is it even worth it as a tourist, or should I just focus on shopping and skincare experiences? I have some questions about my skin that I'd love to ask professionals there, but I'm not sure how it works logistically.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

Oh fun! Have you thought about doing like a mix of both — hitting up the beauty shops and testing products, but also just chatting with staff at skincare counters about your skin type? They're usually super helpful and don't pressure you, and it might give you the info you're looking for without committing to anything!
