It’s been over a year since my surgery, and I’m going crazy because the rhinoplasty scar between my nostrils is red and raised. It’s not very visible from the front, but when I look up to smile under cafe lighting or take a selfie, that curved scar line becomes clearly visible, and it’s so embarrassing. I think it’s too late for ointments, so I really need to find a hospital now that specializes in professionally trimming scar tissue or performing micro-suturing. Since the area under my nose is sensitive, are there any hospitals that provide thorough post-operative care to prevent the scar from recurring?
