Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip to Seoul in a couple months and I'm really excited to finally do some of the treatments I've been researching. I know Gangnam and Apgujeong are like the big beauty destinations, but honestly I'm a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out where to actually base myself.

For those of you who've done beauty trips there before — which neighborhoods did you like staying in? I want to be close enough to clinics that I'm not spending hours commuting, but also somewhere I can actually explore and not feel like I'm in a total medical bubble, you know? Is it worth staying right in Gangnam or would somewhere nearby be more chill?

Also curious what people's experiences have been with those different areas. Like, does Apgujeong feel totally different from Gangnam? Any neighborhood surprises that turned out to be great? I'm trying to be realistic about what to expect and not get my hopes up too high, but I'm definitely hoping to have a good time while I'm there.

Any tips from fellow foreigners who've done this? Budget-wise I'm flexible but not unlimited lol, so any thoughts on what makes sense would help!
