Hello everyone! I'm Yen, and I'm planning a trip to Seoul next month to try out some treatments I've heard are quite good. I'm feeling a bit lost about the best place to stay that's both close to beauty spots and convenient for getting around.
I know Gangnam and Apgujeong are super famous for their spas, aesthetic clinics, and the like, but I'm not sure if staying there is practical, or if I'll just fall into a "tourist trap" with high prices. Have any of you had experience getting beauty treatments in Seoul? Has anyone stayed in those areas and can recommend any nearby neighborhoods that are both quiet and easy to get around?
I'm also wondering if I should stay near those places or if it's okay to stay in a different area? My budget isn't too high either, so if anyone has any hints or secret spots that offer good quality at reasonable prices, I'd love to hear them! I'd really appreciate your help 🙏

Hi Yên! Your plan sounds amazing. I'm curious, out of the treatments you're considering, have you targeted anything specific, or is it still a general skincare/beauty vibe? Because it seems like the location might differ depending on the type of treatment 😊
Hi! Quick question - are you more interested in treatments that take longer or quick treatments? Because this might affect which area you choose to live in 😊
Girl! I'm also planning a trip to Seoul next month. I was wondering what specific treatments you're thinking of getting? I've heard that different areas might specialize in different things, so maybe we can share recommendations based on our experiences 😊
Reading your story, I really relate! I was also confused about where to go, and I found that choosing an area with an MRT/Skytrain line makes it more convenient. Even if it's further from the main tourist spots, the prices are much more reasonable 😊 I hope to hear experiences from others so we can see what the actual costs are like.
