First-time Seoul beauty trip, seeking recommendations for favorite areas and accommodations!

Hi everyone! I'm Yawen, from Taiwan. I'm currently planning a beauty trip to Seoul and want to take the opportunity to experience Korean beauty culture. I'm a bit overwhelmed with information and was hoping to get some recommendations from you all.

I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have a high concentration of beauty clinics, but I'm not sure about the vibe there or if it's the best area for foreigners. Has anyone spent time there? Does it feel expensive? Or are there other neighborhoods that are also great but less talked about?

I'd also like to ask about accommodation – would you choose to stay near the beauty areas for convenience, or stay elsewhere and take the subway? I want to experience local life, but I also don't want to waste too much time commuting every day. Are there any neighborhoods or accommodation styles you'd recommend? I'm a bit nervous as it's my first time, and I'd really appreciate any advice you can share!
