Hey everyone! I'm Thao, and I just booked my flight to Seoul for next month, and I'm super hyped 😄 I've always heard my friends talk about K-beauty and the treatments there, but since it's my first time, I'm a bit lost on what to try.
I'm currently following a basic skincare routine but want to try some new things while I'm in Seoul. Does anyone know of any areas famous for beauty clinics? Or are there any skincare products that friends often recommend that are only available there? I don't have a huge budget, but I want to experience something authentic.
I'm also curious about gentle aesthetic treatments – like skin treatments or anything to make my skin smoother and more radiant. But I'm also a little worried about safety. Has anyone tried them before? Any advice or suggestions from you all would be super helpful!

Tao, I'm so excited for your first trip to Seoul! I had the same question, but are you planning to try out any skincare products before you go, or will you be trying things out once you're there? 😊
I feel the exact same way, Tao! 😊 My first time in Seoul, I was also nervous with so many options, but the most important thing is to do your research and read reviews from other users before trying anything—don't rush even if you're excited!
Hey sis, I also visited Seoul for the first time before and it was truly exciting! A small tip from my experience is when buying skincare, do a patch test first because everyone's skin is very different, especially if you have sensitive skin. As for treatments, I suggest researching thoroughly beforehand, asking people who have tried them, and choosing places with good reviews from the international community! 😊
Hi Tao! That sounds like a really fun plan 😊 I'm curious, have you tried Korean skincare before, or is this your very first time? That way, I can give you recommendations that are a better fit for your skin type!
Oh, is this your first time in Seoul? It's so much fun! When I first went, I tried buying skincare products at the department store because I could test them out first, which helped a lot 😊. Then, I was advised that it's safer to buy from stores back home. As for consulting with the staff at the stores, or if you're worried, ask a friend or two who's been before!
Have you used any K-beauty products before, or is this your first time trying them in Seoul? I'm also going for the first time soon, so I'm curious to know about your experience 😊
