Hey everyone! I'm flying to Seoul in like 6 weeks and I'm honestly so hyped I can't even sleep. I've been following K-beauty stuff forever but never actually been to Korea, so this feels like going to mecca lol. My skin's been pretty decent lately but I want to make the most of being there — like actually experiencing things you can't get at home, you know?
So I'm curious... what skincare experiences or areas should I definitely check out? I've heard there are whole neighborhoods where you can just walk around and try different places, which sounds amazing. I'm not looking to do anything super intense procedure-wise (I think?), but I'm open to like consultations or treatments that are more accessible to try while traveling. Has anyone done any cool stuff there as a visitor?
Also lowkey asking for skincare product recommendations because I know the selection there is just on another level. I have combination skin that gets a little flakey in winter, so anything hydrating would be my jam. Would love to hear what you guys swear by! Any tips for a first-timer would be so welcome 💕

OMG, I totally get your excitement! 😄 I went to Seoul for the first time last year too, and it really felt like a pilgrimage. After following K-beauty for so long at home, seeing it in person made me realize the sheer abundance of choices. For combination to dry skin, you absolutely must explore Myeongdong and Gangnam. Not only are there tons of product options, but you can also take your time trying them out, and the staff are always happy to help you find what’s suitable. Wishing you an amazing trip next month!
