My skin looks really shiny on the surface, but it's severely dry underneath.
My skincare products pill, and my makeup cakes... because it's just dripping with oil.
It looks like my skin texture would be good, but when I touch it, it feels rough and dry.
Even if I slather on a lot of moisturizer in the morning, by the afternoon, my makeup on my cheeks cakes and feels tight.
They say that a breakdown in oil-water balance is due to poor skin condition.
It feels like there's a limit to what I can do with just cosmetics...
Would using a skin booster help?

I was also bouncing around trying different moisturizers before getting Juvederm Volite from Dr. Lee Jeong-il at M's Red. Haha, I realized that just layering on skincare products wasn't going to fix what cosmetics couldn't. Now, my inner dryness has improved, and I feel like the fine lines I had are filled in. My makeup applies so much better too!!
It's a skin problem, so it'll be difficult with just cosmetics, right? ㅜㅜ Thank you, I'll look into Emred Clinic too. ㅎ
If your dryness is due to a disrupted oil-water balance, would you recommend Rejuran or L'etoile? But it's best to get the most accurate explanation from the doctor... I think it would be good to book a consultation with Dr. Choi Woo-jung at Objet.
If you have sensitive skin, avoid harsh products and try the Cool Phase treatment. I also have very dry, oily skin, so I need to manage my skin barrier carefully, and the Cool Phase tightens my skin texture without irritation, making it a perfect match for me.
I'm also considering getting Rejuran or Juvelook with CureJet because of the same concerns ㅠㅠ
