Hello! My name is Kae, and I'm planning my first beauty trip to Seoul 😄 I've seen that Gangnam and Apgujeong are popular areas for foreigners seeking beauty treatments, but what are the actual differences between them? Has anyone been there before? What were your experiences?
Also, I'm wondering which area would be best for accommodation. Or, if I go, do you have any recommendations? 😅 I'd like to be close to the places I plan to visit, but I also want it to be convenient for sightseeing. Is it possible to get around easily during the day?
Regarding timing, you mentioned weekdays versus weekends. Since crowds seem to be a factor, has anyone tried visiting at a specific time? What worked well for avoiding long waits and things like that? 💕

Hi Kae, nice to meet you! I have a question for you: Is this your first time getting cosmetic procedures? Or do you have experience with them in Japan? I'm also planning my first trip to Seoul, so your insights would be really helpful 😊
If I'm being honest, I doubt I needed to book a month in advance before going to Gangnam 😅 My experience: when I went in November, there were fewer people than usual. It was great that there was no waiting time, so we could choose our own appointment slots!
Hi Kae! That sounds like a great plan, I'm thinking along the same lines! From what I've read, Gangnam is indeed busier and more modern, while Apgujeong is more upscale but equally good for a beauty trip. I'm also curious about timing tips because I want to avoid long queues 😅
