Hi everyone! My name is Van, and this is my first time planning a trip to Seoul to experience beauty services. I'm extremely confused about choosing an area to stay in. I've heard a lot about areas like Gangnam, Apgujeong, and Myeongdong, but I don't know which one is truly the best for a beauty trip. Do any of you have experience with these?
I want to find an area with many beauty salons, easy to get around, and with reasonably priced accommodations like hotels or Airbnbs. Has anyone stayed in these areas before? Which area feels clean, safe, and is easiest to contact beauty salons to get information from?
Also, do you have any other suggestions? I don't necessarily need to stay in the city center, just near amenities. Please help me out! 🙏

Hi Ban! I'm also thinking the same thing, I want to go to Seoul for a beauty treatment but I don't know where the best place is, hehe. From what I've read, the areas you mentioned are really popular with travelers, but I'm also curious if there are other recommendations that are more hidden gems! When I traveled, I stayed in an area with lots of shops, and it turned out to be very easy to walk around and browse. But importantly, choose accommodation close to one or two train stations so you can get around conveniently. 😊
