Hi everyone! It's Shan, and I'm flying to Seoul at the end of this month. I'm super excited! My main goal is to fully experience Korean skincare and beauty treatments. I've been using Korean skincare products, but I've never actually tried treatments there. I feel like it'll be a different experience, right?
I'd love to ask for your recommendations: are there any skincare-related experiences in Seoul that are particularly worth trying? For example, skin management, aromatherapy massages, or facial treatments? I've heard that Koreans are very meticulous about skincare, and I want to see if that's true. Also, if I'm interested in consulting for or trying minor medical aesthetic procedures, which areas are most concentrated with these services? I'm still a bit new to this.
Additionally, can anyone share what kind of research I should do before going? Regarding language, booking methods, or necessary identification? I know some basic Korean, but I'm worried I won't understand the technical terms... Has anyone been before or has experience they can share? I'm looking for answers!

I went to Seoul last time and saw that sheet mask + essence layering is a real trend, not just a myth! You should probably try that experience on-site because the products are much colder and fresher than ordering online at home. As for professional consultations, I was a bit hesitant so I haven't tried it yet, but I heard there are many places concentrated around major commercial areas with English-speaking staff, so you can rest assured! 😊
